Why don't they know how long this horrible drug remains in your system after stop taking it.  This drug is bad and should have never been FDA approved.  Should be taken off the market for good.  I took one pill for the month on January 14, 2010 and by afternoon, I had severe back, muscle and joint pain.   Nasty stuff, does more harm than good to the body.

I, too, am a victim of Boniva.  I will NEVER take Boniva nor any of its "cousins" again.  And to think I helped pay for primetime advertising of this drug makes me feel almost as sick as the drug did.

I took my first dose of Boniva 2 weeks ago, I wish I never did!!!  I've have had such terrible back and hip pain for the last 5 days that I can't even get off the couch due to the pain.  This poison should be taken off the market.  I'm angry that my doctor used scare tactics to get me to take this drug, NEVER again!!!  I look forward to the day I wake with no pain, I want my life back!!!!!!!

I took my second dose of Boniva 150 mg. on 2/6/2011 and have never had one side effect. Although I count myself lucky after reading all the negative posts.

Boniva should be taken off the market for good.  My grandma was on it for a year and she developed jaw pain. Shortly after she started losing her teeth and was diagnosed with jaw cancer.  The dentist who she saw said everything she experienced was due to Boniva and it should be off the market and strongly urges all his patients to never take this.  Boniva ended up taking her life a year later. She was starting to write letters to get this off the market and to open a law suit regarding this but never got to finish.

I stopped taking Boniva about one month ago. I was on it for about one year. I stopped it due to joint pain.  Now I am experiancing  lower back and joint pain. Don't know if the boniva is the cause.  Has anyone gone through this?
