Does the Rispond Effect On Pregnant Woman

im a pregnant woman (5 weeks ago) i stoped taking the rispond when i know im pregnant and i want take it again but im Afraid that will effect on my pregnancy

Rispond is under pregnancy category C. It means that either studies in animals have revealed adverse effects on the fetus (teratogenic or embryocidal or other) and there are no controlled studies in women or studies in women and animals are not available. Drugs should be given only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.

Best to talk to your OB before resuming Rispond. He or she might give you a medication that is safer to use during pregnancy.
