Thoracic Outlet Syndrome occurs when the nerves and blood vessels supplying the arms are being compressed.

Thoracic Outlet is found between the collarbone and the rib cage, arteries, nerves and veins come out through this opening and when it is compressed or squeezed it causes this condition.

Here are some Causes of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome:

- injury in the collarbone or in the upper ribs
- pregnancy
- repetitive stress injury
- protrusion in the spinal column
- spinal problems
