can a four month old infant take benadryl and ifso how much can they take and how often do they take it

Probably not a good idea... you really need to ask a doctor to at least find out the proper dosage, and make sure there's a good reason for it, like allergies that interfere with sleep or feeding that you can't remove the cause of.  It's never a good idea to give meds to a baby unless no other choice, especially one that makes them sleep because it will interfere with proper development.

Good idea. Since Benadryl is also an anti-histamine, it will make your baby sleepy and may hinder growth. As long as their is no risk of an Anaphylactic shock it would always be best to consult your pediatrician first.
