In January of last year, I started feeling crappy all the time. I thought that I was pregnant but had my period after waiting for three weeks. And after that, my periods come in late by one to two weeks time. Sometimes, it is too light or heavy, I feel so tired and too weak to go to the bathroom. For the past couple of months, it was worse than what I had a year ago. I am now thirsty all the time, always hungry, tired despite the 8 to 9 hours sleep, feels nausea and always bothered and having trouble for sleeping. I am also itchy, up and down moods, and very emotional. I also feel too hot or cold, gets sweat even if I feel cold and all of these make me sick for the past two weeks. I have not been to my doctor. I have no job, no health insurance and terrified with doctors. Does anyone here know what is happening to me? I know that I really have to go to the doctor, but what should I ask them? Can someone help me or give me some idea on what should I ask them or what test will I undergo with? I am only 26 and I assume that doctors will just tell me that I am too young to get diabetes. I am confused if it’s diabetes, early menopausal or a thyroid related problem. Please help me. I can’t even go out and do anything. I just feel so sick and this tires me so much.
