Are These Early Signs of Menopause or Something Else?

I am 47 years old woman who used to have regular menstrual cycle. I have crohns and I am on regular medication to lessen the effects. Last December, my younger sister died due to breast cancer, she was 44 then. Just prior to her death, I was late for my period and this month, I had no period at all. During this time, I don’t have any hot flashes, only sweats at night which have subsided already. I also found out that my stomach is getting tender and I have had more bowel movements. Has anyone here had similar problems? I heard it could be associated with ovarian problems. Upon the death of my sister, I have been more conscious about health problems, so can anyone here help me understand what is going on in me? Thank you for your understanding.
