Am I Experiencing an Early Stage of Menopause?

Hi, I am 34 years old and I am having vaginal bleeding. I have had my regular and normal cycle every month, but this month was different. After having my normal period after 3 days I started having spots, followed by heavy bleeding after a couple of days, this continued for 2 weeks. I am having blood clots on my menses and tenderness of the breast. My Mom went through the same change at the age of 24, is it possible I am experiencing an early stage of menopause? If so, is there any pill that can control bleeding? Thank you very much!
