Will There Be Any Long Term Side Effects of Drinking Albuterol Sulphate?

Can someone give me an insight to the problems of drinking albuterol sulphate? I understand they are used for inhalers and nebulizers. I happened to be given a prescription for promethazine w/codeine for coughs. The pharmacist gave me albuterol sulphate by mistake. Not knowing that what the bottle actually contained I drank it. About 4-5 days I had severe side effects from this. Since then I have been alright. I am quite anxious about the long term side effects though, Will I have any, I wonder? Can someone give any advice regarding this?
