Are Pain On the Lungs and Ribs the Side Effects of Using Advair for Asthma?

0 votes
I have been regularly using Advair 250/50. And  I am suffering a lot due to the severe attacks of asthma. The doctors have put me on a lot of medication. The doctor's efforts bore result & I was in a good state. The attacks of asthma became lesser and it was pretty much in control. Of late I have been experiencing some weird things in my life. The doctor recently put me on a new course of medication. Since then I am experiencing very bad pain near to my lungs and also the ribs. I just want to know is this any side effect of the Advair medicine that I am using. Also, I noticed that I am getting more stomach problems whenever I eat. Did anyone experience this by using Advair? Or is it not really related to medication? And I have two more weeks of the 250/50 remaining, then I will be starting the 100/50 and maybe the side effects may get better with the dosage getting lower. The Advair is the first medication that I tried, along with the Albuterol, therefore I do not know about what other kind of medication could I switch to, which may not have many side effects as this. Does anyone have better suggestions to this?

The side effects may be caused by Advair. Less commonly respiratory side effects have included chest congestion, chest tightness, dyspnea, immediate bronchospasm, influenza, tracheitis, wheezing, and reports of upper respiratory symptoms of laryngeal spasm, irritation, or swelling such as stridor or choking.Gastrointestinal side effects of fluticasone have included nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
