What Painting Materials That Are Safe To Use for Asthmatic People?

0 votes
Hello, I have a mother who paints and she uses really strong chemicals while doing this. She had asthma and for a long time she did not paint anymore. However, in the past few months she started feeling better, so she went back to painting. We gave her a place and she opens the windows while she paints. Sometimes I can smell the chemicals that she uses when the wind blows them into the house and they burn my throat. I am very sensitive to such smells and I think so is my mother. I think they could be harming her but she thinks that since she cannot smell them, it is not possible that they make her sick. She uses a nebuliser twice a day and I am sure these chemicals are hurting her. What do I do to convince her to use something else? Do you have any kind of information that I can give t her so she will drop this thing or switch to safer chemicals?
Any comments would be really appreciated.
