What Other Medications Can I Use for My Asthma Aside From the Inhalers?

0 votes
I am a victim suffering from asthma since a long time now. Whenever I experience some constriction in my chest, I find that when the doctor monitors my peak flow levels, I blow higher than my normal rate. So my doctor tells me to just use my inhaler and says that I will get better soon. I find that the inhaler is not in the least bit effective and I really do not know what the next alternative is. I find that I am not able to use the powdered form of any inhaler as they trigger asthma for me. I find that the liquid inhalers are absolutely useless. I am now using Singulair one time a day and Maxair twice a day before I use my Aberoid to prevent ant clashes. I have tried using Prednisone, but not for asthma. It was very effective for me for rotator cuff tears when I fell off a horse. But I did suffer from weaning off symptoms. I find that condition is getting no better and it prevents me from exercising and I have to lose my weight and really do not know what to do about it. So I would be grateful if someone could suggest some solution to my problem that I am experiencing and pull me out of my hell.
