Are These One of the Symptoms of an Asthma Attack?

0 votes
I don't know the exact symptoms of an asthma attack. My son has been suffering from a cough-induced asthma by cold. I used to have a nebulizer for him. Recently, I gave him an inhaler. One day, we decided to go for trucking and he was coughing, so he stayed at home with two puffs of inhaler. But we noticed that he was coughing severely even though he had that inhaler. He was on Pulmicort, a capsule in a day. I gave him Xoponex , Sudal and singular on that day. I did not find any progress on him; he was just coughing and coughing. At bedtime, it increased, like many coughs in a minute. This condition stayed for 30 minutes. After that, he stopped coughing for 30 minutes. Was it an asthma attack? Is there any need to go for his doctor now? On Friday, he went to the allergy specialist and doctor said he is completely alright. Doctor added up his medication with pulmicort twice and one singulair in a day. He also prescribed Sudal, if he needed it. As a mother, I am afraid to go to bed, because I won't hear his cough, if I am asleep.
