Wheezing Triggered By the Smoke Inside the House

I want to know about the action of asthma with the presence of smoke. In my house, there is a burning insert where we put logs for getting some hot in the room. We use it after closing all the rooms and windows. But my room is not associated with it so I do not have any problem with its smoke. I have to go near it, if I have some logs to put into it. At that time, I experienced wheeziness.
