I have a seven year old daughter who was found to be a victim of asthma since last October. This was quite a shock to us as we did not expect this at all. She broke down and landed in the hospital for five days only after which they were able to get her lungs to comply. She has been using Flovent, Zyrtec, Flonase, and Albuterol, Nebulization as and when required ever since she was discharged from the hospital. We have to give her a dose of Prednisone when she suffers from an attack sometimes. We have still not been able to find out what are her allergens. My newest worry is that she says that she sees colorbits flying in the air. Initially, these hallucinations used to frighten her and she used to wake up crying at midnight. Now, she tells me that she is no longer frightened of these spots even though they have not really disappeared. She tells me that she can see these spots even during the day time but not always. I informed her doctors about it and they do not seem in the least bit bothered about it. She also suffers from minor opia and so we have made a consultation with the ophthalmologist the next week. We may see her allergist also the coming week and I will inform him also about it. I would like to know whether anybody has experienced anything like this or ever come to hear anything similar to this. If so, please do get in touch with me and shed some light on this matter and put my mind at rest.
