Any Treatment I Should Try for Sore Muscles?

I am a severe asthmatic and was admitted in the ER today. They put me on Prednisone and Xopenex. I had done my Albuterol Nebulization before I had got admitted. My doctor has instructed me to have Prednisone and my usual asthma medicines this night. I am attempting to get some sleep but after I have taken these drugs, I find that my muscles are paining more. I have not been on this drug for a long time now. I would like to know whether there is any way to relax my muscles or at least add something to my bath water to help me. I have been trying a hot water bottle and a heating pad which is not effective in the least bit. I would be grateful if someone could suggest some solution to the problem that I am experiencing as soon as possible.
