Hello, everybody. I want to present a brief history of my situation. My boy was diagnosed with bronchitis about 3 years back. He was unwell for a few months and had consulted many doctors within our hospital. He almost ended up being in the hospital.
On one fine day, we consulted a new doctor. This guy listened to my son’s chest for about a second or so and asked me since how many years was my boy having asthma. I was initially shocked at the question, then came back to myself and said that he did not contain any asthma. The doctor said he most certainly does have asthma. He was immediately prescribed to take albuterol via nebulizer using an inhaler and prednisone.
Now, even I have to face a similar situation. I was also diagnosed with acute bronchitis and sinus infection as well. I currently have to take strong antibiotic medicine, albuterol inhaler and prednisone. I also need to take liquid albuterol but did not purchase the medicine because my son’s nebulizer is missing.
What is bothering is how many people were diagnosed with bronchitis which finally led to the outburst of asthma? And how tough is the availing of diagnosis for it? Are there any institutes that provide information regarding asthma in the country?
Thank you in advance.
