What's the Best Treatment for My Wheezing?

The very fact that I have the terrible disease called Asthma is all so new to me that I do not seem to be able to come to terms with it. There is a restriction in my flow meter and I find the necessity to see a Pulmonologist soon. I have a lot of difficulty sleeping when I am wheezing throughout the night and I am not able to stop it either. My wheezing is so loud and noisy that I am not able to sleep. It is getting on ten days now since I have been able to sleep soundly and will be very happy is you can suggest anything to get me a good night’s rest. I have been on 60 mg of Prednisone, Advair 500/50, Atrovent when necessary, and Allegra and Biaxian 500 mg two times daily. In spite of all this, I am still finding it very difficult to sleep. Any help will be most welcome.
