Bacteria As One of the Main Causes That Worsen Asthma

0 votes
I have learnt from the internet that asthma in some people can be worsened by certain bacteria, myoplasma and Chlamydia pneumoniae. These bacteria are and one can catch them with even a common cold. I think that was my condition and so I have been suffering from asthma for 3 decades. I was on a number of medicines like Singulair, Advair Diskus 500, Albuterol (for when things are really bad), flonase and allegra. I have been having a tough time throughout because all these coughs and colds would enter my chest and give me a very bad time. That is when I heard about a doctor who was treating asthma with antibiotics. His treatment was antibiotics once a week for twelve weeks and then a three day jump start. I was really hoping that my asthma had worsened due to bacteria and so I would be treated more effectively. Then after the treatment, things were so good that I no longer needed my asthma medicines at all. The doctor said that it probably was some bacteria that entered my body when I was young. Bow that the bacteria is come, I have no problems any longer. It required the right treatment, for the right amount of time. I am very happy with the medicines. They were not very effective till I started taking 750 mgs, every Saturday for 12 weeks.
