Wheezing Is Not an Only Indication for an Asthma

0 votes
I have been suffering from asthma for more than twenty two years now. I find that I very usually experience all the signs of asthma without the wheeze. I suffered from a severe attack just a few days back, but I did not have wheezing. Only when my cough gets really severe do I experience wheezing and that too, not always. So I really think that whether you have wheezing or not is immaterial in asthma diagnosis. It is best to consult a lung specialist or an ENT to hear what their diagnosis is. This is my personal experience, but I just wanted to share it with all of you and see whether it would in any way be helpful for you too.

Yes, that's right. Not all who experience a wheezing-like sound during exercise have asthma; other causes and diseases could lead to a turbulent sound in the tracheal area.
