Should I Heed the Doctor's Advice Regarding My Daughter's Condition?

0 votes
My daughter has been a victim of asthma almost all her life and very often contracts infections which were so severe about thrice and we really thought we lost her. Her most recent and severe attack was in January when she contracted pneumonia. Currently she is again down with a bad attack and we took her to the hospital today. She has been sent back home and given instructions not to give her inhaler if she gets worse, but to call the ambulance immediately. Now I am very much tense after hearing about it and really do not know what to do about her condition. She is also suffering from enlargement of her throat glands which has made matters worse. I am extremely doubtful as to call an ambulance if she gets worse or whether I should give her inhaler to use and see if things get better before calling an ambulance. I would be very grateful if someone could help me out with some suggestions or opinions that would help me out of this quandary that I am experiencing at the earliest.
