The first time I took Remeron, I slept for fourteen hours straight! I had taken a 7.5 mg dosage of the medicine. I woke up on the next day, which was a holiday, only to spend the remaining six hours of the day feeling groggy. And I went back to bed to sleep for another twelve hours. As I now figure out, more than 1 mg was certainly an overdose. And this is giving me trouble. I have to chip the small tablet to exactly the correct dosage amount; else, even a little extra can cost me hours. More than that, this extra would put me into a period of inactivity for hours after I wake up. I also will have to pass out at least twice which is not the case in the normal. I think Remeron has a long half-life.
