I'd say that Azithromycin 250 mg which is taken 3x/ week works very well when part of an antibiotic therapy (which should also include Doxycycline 200 mg ever day). I followed the prescriptions religiously and after a year of therapy, I did not anymore have a need for muscle relaxants, and I was slowly withdrawing from antidepressants that I once took for my insomnia, mood issues and lethargy. I also noticed from the therapy that my chronic sinus infections disappeared. Now I am enjoying a relaxing sleep, has shed off unwanted pounds, has high energy level, and has been attending regularly an exercise class. This CAP (together with antibiotic protocol) is known to fight against Chronic Chlamydia Pneumoniae[cpn], which was believed to be the root cause of the sudden action of rrms to spms and ppms. I decided to continue for the moment this treatment and add Flagyl 400mg (3x/day) for 5 days so i can bring the cpn to its weakest point.
