My nine year old son is a victim of Aspergers and ADHD. We treated him first with Ritalin and later with Concerta but both these drugs did not work well on him. He was then put on Strattera and that was really effective. Hit worked better than Ritalin and actually even his Math SAT results improved considerably. But his food intake had come down a lot. We weaned him off the drug that season and were really thrilled to see his appetite improving. It was a pleasure to see him eat so well! He is a child who does not like be treated any different from others. The poor fellow can't understand the reason for it. He will be evaluated again next year and we are looking forward to seeing good results.
