If I take omepradex before eating my evening meal, how long before, and should I take it on an empty stomach?  How long does it take to get an empty stomach -i.e., if I ate a snack at 5:00 pm, at what time can I take omepradex before eating dinner?

generally the dose timing of taking omeprazole (the active ingredient of omepradex) are the following:

CAPSULE
Should be taken with food. (Take immediately before a meal.)

MUPS TABS
May be taken with or without food.

POWDER FOR ORAL SUSPENSION
Should be taken on an empty stomach. (Take on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before a meal.)
