I need help! I am 24 years old and as things go I am healthy. Of late I have been experiencing Some very strange feelings in the throat and esophagus; its like this, in the mornings after my breakfast or the cup of coffee that I have I feel all distended as if there is a bubble of air somewhere in the lower part of the throat. Thinking that it has something to do with flatulence I take a Zantac, but it does not seem to help. About a month back I consulted the doctor and for the first time I have been prescribed QVAR for allergies that come with the seasons. Well I do not experience the breathlessness now, but I am still using the inhaler everyday. When I am QVAR I do not have the distended feeling, but now I am experiencing a feeling of tightness in my throat at the point of the Adam's apple. I am unable to lift or turn my head as the tightness in the neck becomes unbearable. I stopped the habit of drinking coffee ans the habit of taking three Hydroxycuts every day just before I start my exercises. Can someone tell me what is wrong? Can this be anxiety or is it Asthma? I do neither wheeze nor am I breathless so what is it? Can it be GERD??
