Anencephaly is a condition wherein the huge part of the skull and brain is missing. This is a neural tube defect and it occurs early in the development of fetus during a woman's pregnancy.

This is disorder occurs when the upper portion of the brain or the neural tube fails to close. The exact cause of this condition is not yet known but experts say that the possible factors can be: the environmental toxins and the very low intake of folic acid.

Here are the Symptoms of Anencephaly:

Mother:
- having too much fluid in the uterus

Infant:
- no skull is developed
- heart defects
- absence of brain
- havinf abnormal facial feature
