Anybody wouldn't mind doing everything he/she can to help speed up the healing process after surgery. In the case of breast augmentation, most women, if not everyone, will try anything to hasten their recovery.

A lot of women use scar reduction gels and creams to minimize or eliminate the appearance of scars. Some even take various vitamins and herbal supplements for their wounds to heal faster.

However, it is essential to seek your doctor's approval first before taking any vitamin or herbal supplement, or before applying any creams on your scars. This is important because these products might cause you more harm, instead of helping you heal.

Avoid forcing yourself to do tasks that might cause your wounds to open or bleed. You might be excited in showing off your new breasts to your co-workers and friends, but it is best to wait for the right time because sometimes in our hurry, we tend to be careless, and that, sadly, just prolongs recovery.
