Hi, if our only concern is if your son is safe to exercise or join a race while on treatment with Clindahexal, the ansewer is YES. He can exercise. The only contraindication or special precaution in taking the medication is if he is allergic or sensitive to Clindamycin. He can exercise.

However, what kind of bacterial infection does he have? If he has serious bacterial infections like those of the respiratory tract, you might as well let him rest first and re-gain his strength and immune response.

It is best to comply with the treatment and seek clearance from your pediatrician if he can engage in strenuous activities and to be advised of his physical activity limitations.
