Broken Heart Syndrome (BHS) is also known as stress cardiomyopathy, this can be caused by an extreme and sudden emotional shock like: death of loved ones, domestic abuse and violence, armed robbery and even simple surprise party.

This condition visible with symptoms same with an acute heart attack, when a person is feeling stern  pressure chest pain, shortness of breathing and a sense of imminent danger.

Patients with BHS are initially in severe heart failure and requires aggressive and intensive cardiac care. However, with a right care the patients can survive and their cardiomyopathy completely resolves within a few days to weeks unlike Heart Attack that may cause stroke and worse death.

A person who suffers from BHS can easily recover from this with enough rest and care.
