Will It Hurt To Give Benadryl and Tylenol To a 12 Month Old As My Doctor Suggested?

My child had a fever of 101.4 for days.  After the fever was gone she broke out into a horrible rash.  She is 12 months old and is cutting her molars.  Between the rash and the teeth she is very irratable and not sleeping.  My doc told me to give tylonel for the teething to ease pain and the benedryl to relieve the itch of the viral rash.  Is this ok?  I feel like I am giving her medication every 3 hours.

Tylenol is to combat the pain your daughter is having and Benadryl for the rash.  Your doctor is competent and is the right person to prescribe medicines for your daughter.  However, if you are in doubt with it, you can always go to another doctor and ask for a second prescription.
