What Is the Right Support Bra After Breast Augmentation?

0 votes
I am looking for the right support bras at my present condition. Currently, I am into my 5th week post-lift with augmentation. My surgeon gave me a surgical bra the day after my surgery that I wore for two weeks straight. After my check up visit two weeks later, they suggested that I wear a plain support bra.

They informed me that I should use Playtex with underwire feature since this provided more support. Following their advice, I only experienced discomfort with this style because it was hurting my incision underneath. The nurse suggested pre-molded cups and use gauze to cushion the underwire and I have been wearing this continuously. However, I still have a feeling that it is not right for me.

Based on looking from other people’s experiences, there are a lot of compression garments that are designed to be worn right after surgery. Any suggestion on what type of support bras I should be wearing for the next 6 months would be greatly appreciated.
