Postpartum Syndrome is also know as Postnatal Depression. This is a condition that affects the woman after giving birth. This usually occurs few months after giving birth.

This is also called "Baby Blues", feelings of sadness and other emotional problems surfaces after giving birth and a few people seem to notice that. These feelings shows because of the hormonal shifts that is present while a woman is pregnant and at childbirth.

The high levels of estrogen and progesterone suddenly drops after giving birth and this highly affect the mood. Usually these hormone levels return to normal after a few weeks and can be resolve without any medication.

When this problem occurs for more than a month, you should consult your doctor about it and get the proper medical help that you need.
