Treatment of jock itch will depend on what caused it; if due to excess moisture or fungus or bacteria. If it is due to excess moisture, measures to keep the area clean and dry must be done. If it is due to a fungal or bacterial infection, then it should be treated with anti-fungal or antibiotic medications. Hydrocortisone Valerate 0.2% will only help relieve the itching symptom of jock itch.

Consult your health care provider about your jock itch.
