I Want To Get an Asthma Test - What Is the Best Way?

0 votes
I am a 33 year old female who has just given birth to my 2nd baby. Because I have gained a lot of weight during my pregnancy, I decided to go to the gym and lose a couple of pounds. However, I noticed that I'm terribly out of shape and I'm out of breath doing the simplest exercises. Moreover, I also feel that my chest is hurting and I'm always out of breath. I even see stars and I feel so dizzy. I am afraid that I may have a late onset of asthma but do you think it is normal for a person my age.

Yes, even if you have already reached 40 and above, asthma is still possible to develop. The best way is to have someone auscultate your lungs to know if wheezing is present. Always, you might want to look at your family history since asthma can be inherited.
