My Husband Is Taking Leptopsique (a Very Small Dose; I Think 4mg or 6mg) and Over

0 votes
My husband is taking Leptopsique (a very small dose; I think 4mg or 6mg) and over some time he´s become anxious and constantly  "spaces out". Can this be a side effect from the medication? He can barely carry on a conversation...it´s like it´s too much information for him to handle.
Also, what are the effects of this medication on the liver?
What if the patient has Hepatitis?

Leptopsique which contains the antipsychotic drug Perphenazine may cause anxiety as one of its side effects. The effects of this medication in the liver is biliary stasis and jaundice. This drug may interact with liver diseases. Consult a health care provider and discuss this concern.
