I would like to know what the alternative treatments available for treating bacterial vaginosis are. I am aware of the various topical treatments available like cream and gels but my only concern is that, are they really effective and do they have any side-effects? I don’t want to go in for an antibiotic course so I would like to know what other options do I have to treat this infection? Also if there is any simple home remedy that I can follow and the precautions I can take.
