My dermatologist recommended Differin Cream but I don't have acne. he said it would help with my aging skin! Any comments on this use?  I do not have a bad complexion.

I think it\'s because Differin is a retinoid-like compound that would speed up your skin cell renewal. And that should help fine lines and wrinkles. Although, Differin is mostly used for acne treatment as far as I know.

Retinoids are proven to help aging skin look better.
Dont use differin when your condition is minor though, it`s still a pretty toxic chemical you put on your skin and a small part of the differin will be absorbed by your skin so they can come into your blood which is bad for your kidney and liver.

I was just prescribed to Differin myself.  It was for mild acne, but my doctor said the same thing about helping with wrinkles and scarring.  In fact some health care providers ask for preapproval once you reach a certain age to ensure that you are actually using it for acne and not for wrinkles.  It must work somewhat well for it then!  I\'m looking forward to seeing if it works for me.
