Optic Neuritis is a condition where your optic nerve is having an inflammation, this is the nerve that is responsible for transmitting visual information that your eyes see into the brain.

Person suffering from this condition feels pain and temporary loss of vision. This condition may develop due to an autoimmune disorder that can be started by a being infected with a virus.
