Age often affects a woman’s fertility. According to studies, a woman’s fertility peaks between the ages of 20 and 24. Women who are 35 are half as likely to conceive as women who are 25. By 40, women are only half as likely to conceive as they were at 35. Essentially, the longer a woman waits, the more quickly her chances of conception will decline.
