Osgood-Schlatter Disease is a condition where the person suffering from this feels pain on their knees, this though is just temporary pain. Usually it occurs to the athletes and Young adults.

When the thigh muscles is pulling tightly against the kneecap and its anchor, the fibers of the patellar tendon that is attach tibia and when the repeated pulling happens in the fiber connection the fibers become inflamed and causes pain on the knee.

Here are some symptoms of Osgood-Schlatter Disease:

- pain in the knee cap
- swelling of the soft tissues below the kneecap
- warmth feeling and redness in the kneecap
- a bony bump in the top of shinbone
