I was flying two days ago and I had attack while I was in the flight. What happened is that two flight stewardesses were travelling with me and I think that they were no on duty then. The one that was sitting right next to me had a lot of perfume on her and that is what, I guess, triggered the attack. I kindly requested her to please move over and allow her friend to sit next to me. but then she disagreed and told me that if I had a problem then I was the one who is supposed to move. So I tried to shift, but the on duty flight stewardess told me that we were going to take off and so there was no way that I could shift. So I was forced to sit where I was and wait for he take off to happen. I took 3 shots of albuterol and took my Advair as well. I decided to take the Advair because it was evening and that is the time that I usually take the medicine. But I usually take only one shot of albuterol although I took three this time. That made things really bad and so I had an attack and I was helpless. When the flight stewardess came to talk to her friends who were sitting next to me, I told her that I was not able to breathe because of the strong perfume. So she shifted me to the back. That meant that I had to sit in a seat that could not be reclined. This was a four hour flight and I was really looking forward to getting a good sleep. But that did not happen and so I had a very bad time. All the drugs made it difficult for me to move about. Then, the attack went away at last. After the whole incident, I have decided to write to the concerned authorities about my inconvenience.
