Adult Respiratory Disease Syndrome happens when there is a sudden problem with the lung function, when this condition happens the lungs is severely inflamed and the ability of the lungs to be take up oxygen reduces.

This can also cause respiratory failure, this can also affect children rarely. This disease can be triggered by a severe trauma and infection that damages the lungs.

Here are some Symptoms of ARDS:

- restlessness and anxiety
- urination is lessen
- a sound in breathing
- a rapid heartbeat
- having discoloration in the skin
- having trouble thinking
